Love the mess! I’m trying to improve my botanical illustration skills. It’s brought a new depth to my usual mixed media work. I’m excited to see where I continue to grow and it’s fun to see where you’re learning and growing! Indeed, more smiles. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Jennifer! A good mess can inspire looseness and play it seems haha! Good to hear you are exploring more of what you love .. it makes life more interesting doesn’t it ? :-)
How absolutely wonderful Heather! It is so important to 'play' and yet the word is under-appreciated. I love your playful mess. Your use of tetrapaks intrigues me. Someday soon I think I am bound to follow you down your rabbit hole...lol
Love these pieces! Having fun is a huge investment in yourself, should payoff personally. Right now I took all my almost empty bottles of ink and hi flow acrylics and randomly poured them onto tissue paper. I will put up a photo when it drys, hopefully not a muddy mess!
HI Heather, I do love your images! Printing is such a mess but so much FUN! I'm tired of sewing two dimensional table linens (my upper back is also complaining), so I've moved on to tasseled beaded napkin rings and fabric bread baskets (or whatever catch alls) with my remnants. Also, getting my printing inks ready to dye my fabric and stencil print a few tea towels....My daughter is not happy with all of my patterns mash up, too many colours as she puts it, but I love it! We all need some whimsy in our lives right now.

Thanks Sarah ! I have faith that you will have some new magical papers to work with.. one inspiration leads to another!
This is great Heather! Well done for trying something new, especially with repurposed equipment. And the prints turned out great! Love the goose. 🤗
