What a sweet piece of writing Heather. I love hearing stories about your father. Your connection between the branches of nature and our branching into ourselves is so apt. I am really enjoying the age we have reached with all its wisdom and experience which allows us the ability to look back and be compassionate with our younger selves. Thank goodness for the art that surrounds us!
