I can't wait to hear more about the twins, Grandma. And I can totally relate to the difficulties of traveling, especially long flights. I always say, "This is the last time." But then I have so much fun that I do it again. I had an amazing trip to Guanajuato, Mexico last month and can't wait for Ireland next year. No paranormal to compare, sorry!
Hi lesley..I am still processing the twin birth and yet another lovely life change ! Travelling is something I hope to do more of even in recognition of its challenges! Mexico would certainly be on my hopeful to visit list -I was there in the 80's and found it to be a fascinating place .. Look forward to hearing/reading about your travel stories
Thank you Diana ..It was both things ! The stimuli of travel and life changes (and navigating time zones ! ) The historical aspect of places gives me pause to recognise what a little being I am in the world!
Wonderful and I love a good ghost story. I can fill pages with visits from the other side. The details, I only share with my closets friends-most people, unless they have had similar experiences will try to convince me they aren’t real. They are real as me. Unless I’m an apparition?
Congratulations on the twins!! And I loved reading about the ghostly happenings... I once stayed in a medieval manor house in Somerset and certain parts of the house filled me with unspeakable dread, and my daughter, a baby at the time, screamed and screamed most uncharacteristically. The morning we left I read up about the history of the house - there was a triple murder there in the 1500s! It sounds as if your ghost was much more kindly and just wanted to look after you.

Sounds like a very interesting and emotional time, Heather. I love that last picture of the boy with the chicken.

It’s so true isn’t it ? Not everyone understands ! It sounds like you are very connected and tuned in to these experiences !
Congratulations on becoming a grandmother. Exciting times for your family! Not sure if I would enjoy any paranormal visitations !

Ahh Jane! I love your Somerset ghost story ! Have you illustrated that event ?
I agree the ghost in our place seemed very gentle and unassuming ..almost comforting in an emotional time..:-)
I made it into a Zine for my comics class a couple of years ago when we had the theme A Ghost Story! I'll show it to you...
