Supporting Small
Tis the season
There is so much vying for our attention these days . So many offers, so many posts and so many screens . Black Friday merged into Cyber Monday into whatever else the whole manufacturing conglomerate mess is using to lure us.
This is a small plug from me to you.
I ask you to consider the makers and shakers, the crafters crafting and the artists putting their hearts into creating something unique and special. If you are an artist and or craftsperson , (a creative soul making something beautiful for others) I commend you . Your work is a treasure. Your tender efforts make the world glimmer and glow a little brighter .
Originality rules. There is a lot of manufactured sameness out there . I don’t know about you but I find the excess disturbing.
As a contrast, there is something very warm hearted and comforting about handmade isn’t there?
If you are thinking of someone special to buy a gift for this season why not choose from an artist or small business in your community ?
Take back your power..and hurl the billionaire mediocrity out the window while quietly supporting small business.
Why not also support a charity of your choice .
If you are low on funds then there are plenty of options
If you are a maker -make something for your loved ones
Write a poem.
Sing a song..Cook a dinner..Bake..
Offer your service ..
So in the midst of these thoughts (as a small business artist) I felt I should offer you a little art to brighten your winter day .25% off all of my art prints ! If you enjoy my art then I know you will appreciate this discount. You can discover the sale starting Wednesday December 3rd ( and ending December 7) at …
You will need the discount code artprintsale2025 when you check out ( and your sale price will be reflected at this point)
a selection of the art prints available :-)
Of course The festive season is not
only about gifts
Please enjoy the season of light
with goodwill for others
and thoughts of peace for our fragile world
Thank you for reading Ageless Artist
